artic 595
Its a sport in which you take pride in what your doing. The thrill of being the hunter, hunting with dog and man, man and rifle etc...... (sorry women) Seeing all your hard work, time and effort in all you do come into action and getting results. Putting meat on the table, in the freezer, and respecting your dog for catching it, or your skill of stalking and making a clean kill. When i was in my teens i was never at home, always out exploring, fishing, snaring, poaching with rifle and dog. You do slow down though........ It will happen young ones, so enjoy your youth. The best time i had was learning how to hunt off elders. Watching, listening and practasing, learning from your mistakes, i made sooooooooo many. Its all part of the fun. I will always take on advice, in this game you never will know it all.

Hannah4181 260
For me it's watching Dogs/hounds, do what they were intended to do. There is nothing i'd rather watch than a pack of Fox hounds working cover and then the shrill call when they find and start speaking. Love it. And to watch my little lurcher improve and learn as he grows, especially when you've put in a large amount of time and effort . . . it's a great feeling.

Mattventon 1
I've been into hunting for a few years now, but I've still much to learn. After September I'm going to have a go at snaring & my shotgun license should come through any day now!
