Freddy Watts 1
They only leak if you get a a bad one or if you don't treat it right. My PCP is a good few years old now and no leaks so far. This question has been asked a million times. The answer is it depends what suits you and what you want it for. Quote Link to post
foxon 0
What you think spring or gas,a mate of mine said gas guns are to much hassle cos the seals leak all the time? The main maker of the Gas Ram system is Theoben of GB, this system finds it's way into many good quality rifles like BSA & HW, if the system is kept clean with correct non mineral lube it will remain leak free & realiable, the system can be adjusted with the HE pump to maintain power levels for your discipline ie paper punching or live target, the action of the Gas Ram is a lot quieter than the spring, they are very easy to strip & maintain if you do not like removing a compressed main spring from a springer, Gas Rams can be degassed by knocking the valve open with a punch removing the forces on the retaining pins, no need for a spring clamp. I do personaly like springers as I am nostalgic. foxon. Quote Link to post
