the pures did very well but i would say the saluki xs were probebly faster

nice dogs look as if they shift i have two salukis x 3/4 breed dog and strait cross bitch the dog good but the bitch is a demon

The back two are mine, the front one is out of my bitch.

 

Their coursing ability is pretty much the same as you would find in alot of SalukiXs with some better than others. The fact that pures have featured in the forley cups says it all IMO.

I have a 7 month old pure saluki bitch.I was given it as a pressie,I have no details as to its breeding but the lad that did give it to me is a serious dogman so I know theres something decent behind her.I had this stereotype picture of her growing up to be a stubborn ,patience sapping animal.NOTHING COULD BE FURTHER FROM THE TRUTH.Shes very obedient and so far solid with livestock.I am more than pleased with her.I hope she makes a decent bitch and am looking forward to the season coming.Shes rock steady with the ferret but im taking it real slow with her at the moment but she knows whats happening when were in the country.Out ferreting shes caught 2 rabbits and retrieved them to a very close proximity to me.Something I was told Salukis dont do.The best bit is though shes demented on feather ,something I like to see in a dog.Shes just now starting to develope into looking like a saluki good and proper.What she'll be like on a hare is what I'm really waiting to see but I'm not looking for a 3 out of 3 animal just a decent success rate will keep me happy with all round talent.Anyone here use the saluki pures for mooching,fox,feather and general lurcher deemed work?
