little fox hunter 0
Thanks for a great day out Dessie, Good turn out today for a well run show, once again proving that you run one of Ireland's top terrier and lurcher show
dessie m 34
I would like to thank everyone who attended the show yesterday. Once again everything ran well and according to plan . Well done to the terrier winner Brian O Neil from co Carlow, who also won the pups and the overall champion of champions. Well done also to Fiona Devlin who won the overall puppy champion of champions with her 11 month old lurcher pup . Also to the lurcher chapion who was a worthy winner as it was his third championship in a row and to Janet Duke for winning best whippet. also well done to Darren Connely who won the simulated coursing .. and to Rose with diego who won the under 23. Well done to the over 23 winner a very close race between his dog and Billy Harpur's dog. Well done aswell to Sammy for winning the whippet pup race, to Fiona Devlin in winning the lurcher pup race, and to Janet and Tracey's dog in winning the whippet racing. If I've missed anyone out, I'm sorry. Yours in sport, Dessie Mackin
dessie m 34
Just to confirm Rowhoish when I was a fell and moor rep in the 1990's, there was never any rescues called out in Northern or Southern Ireland. As for Tullyeyed there's one sure thing, they wouldn't be ringing to rescue a dog as he hasn't got a dog that could find a fish supper in a phonebox. The only decent dog he had came from me and he killed it feeding it chicken bones. It was only early this year he was up looking a black dog from me

The bottle of sparkling Vino will be opened when Janet gets home tonight so we can toast Vixens success Just a small correction to your results. It was Liz & Eddy (not Sammy) who won the whippet puppy race with their black & white boy whose name I keep forgetting , Their Cody was also 2nd overall in the adult whippet race. Well done guys!!! Guest ladyjane
Dessie, I know I wasn't able to attend, but dogs and kennel maid were there lol!! Once again a great show by all accounts, thanks for making the effort, show organisers and judges take a lot of stick on here, but without the like of yourself and others, we wouldn't have the sport we have. Well done!! Janet
