ellir0305 9
i am looking at making a ferret court/run which will be 6'x6'x4' and i was wondering what is the best size and gauge mesh for ? and should i mess the floor if its on gravel? Quote Link to post
Gooner 143
Try doing a search lots of good advice on here. I would concrete the floor as you may find they will dig under the gravel, if it is not laid on concrete.Good luck mate. Quote Link to post

Use mesh for pigeon lofts. It's very strong and relatively cheap. I would concrete the floor aswell. Ferrets are masters at escaping. Quote Link to post
paddy.t 5
Use 1 or 2 inch weld mesh. Looks tidy and is strong... Might cost you a few quid though Quote Link to post
BennyS 1
Use 1 or 2 inch weld mesh.Looks tidy and is strong... Might cost you a few quid though 1 or 2 inch weld mesh is too big. If you have kits or a small jill they could get out through it. Ferrets love to climb so the tighter the mesh the better for them. Quote Link to post
