dawnraider09 75 Posted June 3, 2009 Report Share Posted June 3, 2009 dont give up my pup done this for about a week as mars said walk away and he will come,if he doesnt bring it with him take him to it and get him to pick it up .my pup is now 8 months old and is catching and retrieving so it does work good luck Quote Link to post Share on other sites

salclalin 240 Posted June 4, 2009 Report Share Posted June 4, 2009 leave the retrieving alone for a couple of days, then go back to the garden training. If this fails attach the dummy to a light piece of string when you call the pup to you take the tension up on the string so you are virtually towing the pup towards you.
