Paid to shoot a maggie!

Recommended Posts

one of the houses my mum cleans at has got a magpie nest in it, my mum mentioned that the magpies could be 'taken care of' if the owners wanted the gone and they were all to keen to get rid of them as they had killed to broods of black birds in theris garden. so this morning i wonderd up the road with my air rifle to see if i could get them. it was a 10 min job as i killed both adult birds with in 7 mins i think it was, then poked the nest out of the tree, killed the young ones the put the lot of their fire site. i thought i was going to be doing it for free as i normaly would but i was given £10 towards pellets! 2 pelets dont cost much at all. so it was a good morning for me, but sorry, no pics

I'd just love a full time job killing those buggers, and grey squirrels too.

I'd still be quite happy doing it for free though! :D

i was doing it for free before, but now i may have to ask for a contribution towards time and cost when i get called out! lol

I'd look for a new employer! :o

I laboured for 3 years before I moved onto the trowel, it's bloody hard work, worth way more than £50 for 11 hours.
