The reason I asked the question is that being from the bully background, you could pretty much almost guarantee the type you'd get based on bloodline, obviously you couldnt guarantee the size of the heart but you knew what you were getting in a roundabout way.

I wondered if the same applied to the pats, being that I'd like an athletic type more than the shortleg type i was hoping to gain knowledge of any lines that were more known for producing a stronger type, that was i had a base to go from in selecting a good rep of that line from good honest stock.

whatever lines you get now there not true to their word so many have been diluted. The only way to get a true line is from the men themselves and half of them have now passed away. Only a certain few breed true to their name.

personally iv had a few of wots mentioned including stevens line

at the mo i mated a nuttal bitch to a harcombe bred dog

and i hav handy size parkes breed bitch

it wouldnt bother me who bred it if it works happydayz

but these guys hav bred dogs for years with success gud luck
