Guest JOEB
My Heros are all those old Men & Women that did there bit in the WW1 & 2 that you see at the rememberance service every year. Sadly, there numbers dwindle away but they are a monument to evrything that was once great and good in the world. They did there bit, didnt come home and piss and moan, didnt ask for councilling or compensation, woulnt have understood todays what can you do for me society. They keep the horror of there experience to themselves because they just did what had to be done and cant understand why you wouldnt. Whoever is responsible for turning this country/world into the piss ant place that it is today, should fall on there knees in front of these proud Men & Women and beg for forgiveness. wunwin 0
Got to agree with joeb, the ww1 and 2 vetrans.Heard an interview the other day with one of the last remaining somme survivors. He saw the sort of hell no other soldiers have or will ever see. 10's of thousands of men and boys WALKING towards bosh machine guns, cut down for no reason but Generals arrogance. This man lived through this, came home after the war, and never spoke of it again, untill this year. He had no councelling, just got on with his life the best he new how. Mates, brothers, all blown up or shot, all around him, and still he did his duty to king and country. THAT IS A HERO.
