doxhope 2
KAY, how many times have I told you??? your photography is now at a level which deserves the scope in a camera that only a DSLR can give you You are see-ing and taking great pictures that most of us would not see, or take..Getting that camera now would only mean that you would be without a DSLR for that much longer, which, would be a great pity for you as a photographer, and us see-ing your work..IMO
Dawn B 212
SLR without a doubt, cannot see the point of this bridge camera to be honest Kay. Should you consider it, dont forget its an electronis view finder aswell.

Dawn B 212
Im really pleased with my Sigma 70-200 F/2.8 and I couldnt afford the over £1000 price tag for the Canon one!! Bought a 1.4x TC for it recently. I dont think there is anything between Canon and Nikon, and I must say Ive seen some impressive results with the Sony Alpha lately!! Keeps 403
Kay a DSLR will open up a whole new meaning to your photography that a compact can't - though theres nothing wrong with compacts for snaps. I'm with Doxhope though - has to be a Nikon but theres nothing wrong with Sigma lenses if thats what you can afford to start with.. - I use one and am fairly pleased with the results, though if I could afford some better lenses then I'd buy the Nikon ones Plenty of people also swear by Canon's but I've seen one or two Canon photographers converting to Nikon recently
