fastrac10 0
Looking at buying a new air rifle to replace a very old Webley Vulcan. I'm looking at a Stoeger X20 .177 with a synthetic stock. There are supposed to be made by Beretta so they should be well made and last a long time. It's a legal limit gun which I want to shoot pigeons in and around sheds. Been quoted £140 for this gun whick seems like a good buy. Has anybody got one and what do they think? Thanks Fastrac10 Quote Link to post
half n' half 8
i think they may be marketed by beretta but i think they are made in china? my mate had one plus others i've read about and they all seem to have had accuracy problems with them. Quote Link to post

Thanks for that. I don't need super accuracy as I will be only shooting at close range. Who bad did these shoot, and for the money could I get something better? Cheers Fastrac10 Quote Link to post
wuzzy 0
my shooting partner has one in .177 and its one of the best springers ive seen and very quiet for a springer and super accurate Quote Link to post
half n' half 8
all i can say is you ain't seen many good springers mate. for £140 you can pick up a decent quality second hand springer from one of the long established companies, bsa, webley, weihrauch etc, etc. Quote Link to post
wuzzy 0
mate ive shot 75,s and 77,s so dont tell me what ive seen! the stoeger is a decent rifle and shoots well in the right hands . Quote Link to post
redda09 1
i would go for a second hand springer meself. a hw80 or maybe a hw77 cant go wrong with weihrauch...... Quote Link to post
wuzzy 0
thats true they will last for ever Quote Link to post
