In the lamp he is Great, he is quick+Agile and as great Strike on him. Might get the odd Bigger rabbit in the day,or old red coat Great?? but he aint bred for that. Guest donh
You do not want a dog that hunts up at night About 3 monthys ago I was out lamping with an 18 month old bitch (deerhound/greyhound X collie/greyhound) the best dog I have ever owned. 1st rabit no problem 2nd rabbit chased through 2 sheep fences jumped over both, rabbit then went into wall (3 fields away) dog jumped over wall (to find rabbit) and fell straight down a 30foot clif onto sharp rocks. The dog was in a hell of a state, mercifully it died while I was carrying it back to the car. so just be careful running a dog that hunts up, at night. all the best Donh Quote Link to post
