HBG 350
id love my dogs to jump hedges, dont get me wrong they can jump and jump well! but hedges are a different story your dog gotta have confidence and more to do so, how you train them up to do that HBGto be honest mate i dont train em,the way we lamp from the back of the van the dogs know when the van stops there's a rabbit over the other side of the gate, fence, hedge or what ever,so they sharp click on to the job,not all dogs i've had do it this is probs the best i've had, remus does it but not as good as this dog.i have the 3/4s sister in my kennel at the moment and it does it also so hopefully i'll be able to bring my pup on to running it with him.another pic of him jumping a gate. Hannah4181 260
Not a lurcher but my Dalmation X Beardie, was born with springs in her feet! She does 26ft into the pool, 15ft over the long jump and 8ft up the vertical wall. Hedges, fences and gates are never a problem. She jumps for fun, will always go over even if going round is quicker! zap 4
not a good pic but my 3/4 jumping a hedge. i been trying for weeks to lighten that pic up it really is a fair jump but when you think these dogs are jumping out a van with little or no run up and sometimes they are jumping hedges with ditches either side and still clearing easy enough Quote Link to post
