JordKil 0
No mate they wont best leave it until next season to be safe. They're bones will need to set and muscle would need to develop more to put up with a kicking from a rabbit. Think about it would you work a lurcher at about 4 -5 months old and not expect to ruin it or it get injured? Good luck with them though. ATB Jordan Quote Link to post

Guest donh
Should be alright to start this year. But dont expect them to reach their full potential till next season and be prepared for knock backs I once worked a eight month old kit, it was going great. Until I entered it into a warren containing rats. It dealt with the rats but after that it became a sculker. (darting back into hole when trying to pick it up) I tried for about a year to get it working properly again but to no avail and eventualy it was given away as a pet. If the ferret had been older would it have been affected the same way? I dont know. hope this is of some use All The Best Donh Quote Link to post

howler 0
i tend to find if i work mine too early they are still a bit nippy when you go to catch them so i allways make sure they are at least 12 months old and really quiet enough for my kids to pick up,,,,jas Quote Link to post
