suheslop 0
I gave my dog a teaspoon of Potter's malt and codliver oil - that I got from Morrisons supermarket about £3 a bottle. (Same stuff us oldies got as kids) - works a treat. He's nearly 10 he has no creaks, he runs and jumps and catches as well as ever and I'm regularly complimented on his condition. surrey lass 12
i agree with riohog, giving your dog fresh meat, bones and chicken wings should be sufficent, over doing suppliments can do more harm than good,
sandymere 8,263
A good balenced & varied diet should give strong healthy dogs. Most suppliments are given to make the owner feel better rather than to have an effect on the dog.
skycat 6,173
I use SA37 about 3 times a week: with the best will in the world most diets aren't going to have the perfect balance of vitamins and minerals: that goes for humans as well! Unless the food (for dogs and humans) is totally organically produced on soil which has not been stripped of its goodness then modern veg and meat (particularly chickens and other animals whose growth has been unnaturally forced for human convenience) tends to be lacking in some nutrients.
