Guest Scuba1
I had a good team for that. The dogs chased them up the one tree I had in the garden and then Harvey did the rest. HTH Michael
Dawn B 212
It's about time lazy irresponsible cat owners are made to abide by the same laws as those with dogs. No roaming on other people's property, clean up any crap, pay for damage to flowerbeds etc and most of all a huge fine for any killing of songbirds. Why should these filthy vermin get away with killing millions of wild birds every year when it's illegal for a human to do it?? Dirty introduced pests have no place in the ecosystem whatsoever. just replied to lurchergrirl at the bottom of this topic befofe reading your post.seems we have the same views!!! Yes I hate the things. My neighbour's fleabag sometimes craps at the bottom of my garden so I chuck it back over the fence. Funny thing is that she had two cats and one recently had to be put down after a stroke, the remaining one has now started crapping on top of its grave. 6pack, Just reread that bit, it was a pretty daft statement lol! Dawn B, Yes human beings have messed up big time, introducing domestic cats is another fine example. Id be more concerned about war, neuclear weapons, fighting, famine, murder etc if I were you, far more pressing matters IMO.
Guest buster321c
Right well I know you will all jump on me but some of the stuff you're saying here is downright disgusting. You put that dog flea stuff on a cat and it will die a slow and very painful death. Same goes with kicking, if you do any damage that cat could very well suffer really badly. Aren't you lot always saying that you have to respect quarry? If you call a cat vermin, then you class it as the same things you hunt. Would you be happy to cause suffering to the animals you hunt? Fooking disgusting replies to this thread. Weather you like a cat or not, weather you agree with it being allowed to roam or not - IT IS SOMEONE'S PET It's a living creature that doesn't deserve to suffer. Go ahead and torture it, kick it to death or poison it. Then when you get found out, you go explain to the lonely old lady or the 5 year old kid who loved the cat why you saw fit to cause it to die a painful death. Nor do you deserve to have it shitting in your garden. So take precautions if they're coming round. There are plants you can put in that deter them, check with your local garden centres. Or those sonic things. Or whatever. If you're on good terms with the neighbour go round and have a word, it can't hurt. But for you all to suggest cruelty to an animal - any animal - is appalling. If you wouldn't stand for cruelty in hunting then you should be ashamed to encourage it to any animal, quarry or not. Not read this thread before , and i dont like cats , but this is a disgrace thread should be removed . You all go on about Anti`s watchin the site , and post shit comments like the ones ive read so far . Should be ashamed of yourselves .
Eunectes 0
A lecturer at our college swears by an electric fence round his garden to keep cats away!

Guest Bubbleduck
Not read this thread before , and i dont like cats , but this is a disgrace thread should be removed . You all go on about Anti`s watchin the site , and post shit comments like the ones ive read so far . Should be ashamed of yourselves . Whenever a thread requesting advice on how to deal with cats causing problems is started it always descends into chaos, happens all over the internet. We need threads like this to give people advice on effective methods to deal with the buggers, the stuff sold in the shops may work for a little while and most don't work at all. Why the hell should anyone have to spend money on stuff to keep other people's pe(s)ts out of their gardens anyway? One non-lethal method to stop cats crapping in your garden is to put down 12 inch lengths of hawthorn twigs or brambles with the biggest thorns you can find. Once they've had a 2 inch spike up their ass they'll soon find somewhere else to take a dump. I've been using this method since last summer and there's not been a single pile in my front garden since, it's 100% effective. Just space them a few inches apart and make sure any kids stay well away from them! I need to go get some more for that bit at the bottom of the back garden where the neighbour's cat's been going just lately.

I dont think Im lazy and I own 6 Cats, I do however hate cleaning up shit that some lazy git and his Whippet leaves outside my house most mornings!! I do like how a human being will blame an animal for the downfall of the entire eco system, my word thats where we have been going wrong all these years!!! Just out of interest, how do you clean up after your six cats, do they only use a litter tray, shit in only your garden, or shit in your neighbours gardens?
