fin and fur 2
The previously mentioned Lion/Tiger shit from the nearest zoo is, i am told, an excellent deterent. And many zoos keep the stuff for sale to gardeners. One other deterent that i have heard of as beig effective in the shorterm is the skin from citrus fruits, however you will have to keep replacing the peelings on a daily basis so thats a lot of oranges and lemons. Attack Fell Terrier 864
Anyone who's got a dog(s) will have enough on their hands cleaning up after their own animal(s) let alone cleaning up after some gob shites cat who's coming in wrecking your plants and laying Eartha Kits all over your lawn. If you see the cat in your garden just let the dogs out, it'll be off and over the fence in a split second and will think twice about coming in again.

Guest Bubbleduck
It's about time lazy irresponsible cat owners are made to abide by the same laws as those with dogs. No roaming on other people's property, clean up any crap, pay for damage to flowerbeds etc and most of all a huge fine for any killing of songbirds. Why should these filthy vermin get away with killing millions of wild birds every year when it's illegal for a human to do it?? Dirty introduced pests have no place in the ecosystem whatsoever. lurchergrrl 1,441
Be a fine thing bubble if we could get dog owners to do the same. If I had a pound for every dog shit I stepped over on the pavements I'd be fookin' rich by now.

ALSO,if 1 of our dogs were seen walking the pavement unattended,we'd have to pay a small fortune to get it back from the kennels, but not cat owners!!!!!!!

Yes I hate the things. My neighbour's fleabag sometimes craps at the bottom of my garden so I chuck it back over the fence. Funny thing is that she had two cats and one recently had to be put down after a stroke, the remaining one has now started crapping on top of its grave. 6pack, Just reread that bit, it was a pretty daft statement lol! Dawn B, Yes human beings have messed up big time, introducing domestic cats is another fine example. Edited May 29, 2009 by Bubbleduck
