Raw mince meat feeding

Would it be ok and good for my kits to eat raw mince meat ?

how old are they mate i fed my kits when they were 3 weeks old on beef mince it worked perfect for them plus the rabbits and pigeons cheers DM

There 4 weeks and 2 days old

Ive been giving them rabbit but ive ran out so I should get off my ass and go shoot some more but ive just given them some mince and they seen to love it

since you have had good results that will do for me

ok mate if you need anymore advice dont be scared to ask ATB DM if you have any dried ferret food you can always soak it for a couple of hours and drain off the water that should be ok for them as well thanks

I had big problems just feeding mince to my kitts it not got enough roughage ect in it

The more variety you can give the kits to eat the better. Ferrets can fixate on food and this is set by the time they are 3 months. Cheap mince is best for them as has high fat content try chicken too as well as the biscuits

Mince is fine but not to often as the one said its got the protein and fat content

but aint got the roughage in it try and get out like you said and shoot a

rabbit of 2 or try and pick up some cheap chicken wings or legs from tesco value things

Use the cheapo fatty mince with bits of bone in it , the sort you wouldnt usually want to wolf down yourself

Ive been feeding chicken as well They prefur the chicken to the beef mince
