my god farther is away so i see to his hens while he is a way all bar one is pened up the one that is not pened is broody well was till today she is in an old wash house

 

any way to day i did my useual fed and watered the others then went to see to her as i walked to the door ther was her head on the path i looked round the door no eggs and behind the door ther was her body first thourts was stoat but on closer exsamination ther was to much breast meat eaten for a stoat cant bee a fox as the was on the chain and only my fist can just get in so i have put her body in a wooden tunnle with a fen at each end so we shall see if it comes back my worry is what ever it was will move on to the 14 shamos in the run and the rest of the oxfords so fingers crossed it will be in tomorrow ther has been ferle ferrets about up ther befor andd it makes me wounder if ther could be another ill blits the pens with fens to morrow aswell
