steviemann 5
its perfectly legal to use a 410 or a 12 double or single barrelled shot gun to despatch any vermin so i doubt you would be contravening any law pal if you want a 38 and are allowed one then go for it as long as you are willing to waste about a quid every shot then go for it but did you know it is still legal to own a 410 pistol as far as im aware a better choice far quieter than any 38 i promise you Thanks for all your replies, I think we need to put this subject to bed now. I knew that this may turn into a touchy topic but was keen to hear views. I shall stick to my .410 pistol as you say Twinkletoes whats the point in spending over a pound a round!?! Not that the price of a cartridge is cheap now!!!!!!!!!!!! Quote Link to post

Guest busterdog
Can't all be special like you Rod, never tought for one second it would have harmed my dog or would have never pulled the trigger. How do you go on then on all your permision with no shotgun ? with your BOLTING bitch TIT. . The dog i lost was a very good dog, he'd seen five years hunt service and had been dug to hundreds of times in all situations and tested to the full, so your sticks and stones cant do any more harm to my head than i'v already done to my self. The reason i didn't dig the dog straight away is it was a very old hunt artificial and didn't want to ruin it and there was no rush, my dogs dont come off. Quote Link to post

Roders I'm forty years old and I've never done a week's work in my life and was digging at fifteen years old, thats twenty five years on the bank, I don't need a gamekeeper come wannabe terrier man telling me f*ck all, keep at your cubs boy and leave the real terrier work to them that no. Good luck finding your new digging partner Quote Link to post
