J Darcy 5,871
I don't think I am wrong in saying that it is illegal to use a live bait for foxes in UK or Eire OTC Oh my god typical. I never get these ridiculous answers off Irish people. ye must be under constant supervision and surveilance in the uk. no wonder hunting was banned there. Listen you fool...you were banned before for spouting shite....any more of this borderline illegal crap and you will be banned again. Learn the law before you get yourself and others in trouble... And, just have a think in future before posting anything that may be construed as being a leading question......JD Quote Link to post

jpnixon 7
keano is right either that or a dead chicken. And it is illegal to use live bait in Ireland. To be honest you really should know these things before you go out because we dont need any stupid headlines ruining things for everyone else, now its not a jab at you just saying. Anyways all the best with it, just a tip when you set your trap make sure you have it somewhere that you can have a look without approching it the less scent the more luck you will have. I assumed it was ok to use live bait as they sell the fox traps with a compartment for the live bait and there is no way the fox can get to the live bait. also the man i spoke with in the hunt shop said live bait is the best to use. Anyway my mistake but im no anti, just want to stop the fox killing my hens and rabbits. I think you brits are being a slight bit over paranoid about antis but then again most people in your country are antis. In my country our traditions and culture remains strong. Cheers for the help lads... ach ni raibh aon cabhair den fear sassana! Quote Link to post
