hawke scope range

Recommended Posts

Hi Just asking what you think of the hawke range of rifle scopes

anybody got any info on them

There is no specific answer, Hawke scopes are made by several different firms in different countries, at the bottom end they are "cheap", at the top end they are "OK". They offer pretty good value for money throughout the range BUT they do not compete at the top end of the market!

personally i would put one on my spud gun and that's it... but if fund are an issue they are OK for air rifles and rimmys, but i have a cheap old tasco 8x56 on my rimmy and since i put it on their two years ago it hasn't dropped a mil. so don't just buy at will get on the flea bay and try your luck... they arnt expensive mine was £38 posted...

I have an SR6 on my CZ452 .22, it works just fine no trouble at all, never lost zero, cost about £100.

I cant fault them, ok compaire them to lets say an s n b and there is no comparison, regarding light gathering potensial, like anything else on the market more money = better optics.

The SR6 is designed for air rifles, the retical is VERY USEFUL..
