CAITHNESS DOGS

The type of lurcher i am on about wer owned by a man in caithness wer lads from wer i live used to go on lamping holidays their in the early 90s and brought some back with them one which was the grand mother to my old bitch .They wer small stockey whippet types with phenominal recovery and stamina.Ther is a piece on them in the feildfare booklet lurcher the journal of running dogs volume 2 1989 in the forum chapter.He describes the running dog he prefers as a mixture of grey/whipp/beddy crossed back to a grey/whipp with hard blood.I just wonderd if any body else had this type of dog.atvb

not that im aware of :( any lads i know up there are using bigger types of crosses.

if its the same people they had kin round lanark way used to come down every so often would bring a pack of dogs to buy /sell /trade had photos of impressive catches

yes ive heard of him, never met him though, i dont know if he still has this strain or not? but any lads up here i know of who are related to him have saluki/grey crosses.
