hector 1
sorry mate but dont think sore wrists would stop a dog from mouthing a rabbit to go on and chase if the bitch had knocked a wrist after so many runs she would come back lame as for the tighter beam i agree but if bitch chase one rabbit then another its not her wrists maybe even a neck or back problem where she cant get down to mouth it so wheels off it to chase another atb with ur bitch mate Quote Link to post

jed41 0
Hi lads i got a 2 yr old beddy x whippet spot on dog dose as she says on the tin so to speak always been good and night BUT last 2 times i have had her out on a lamp she could not catch a cold i mean she is not focused on one bunny switches from one to another and has her nose to the floor,i am sure i could run her with another one of mine but i also know this will all end in tears with a injured dog and would rather not go this way.I just wondered if anyone had any ideas other than sell her etc as thats not a option as she is spot on in the day i ran her this morning and good as gold its just this lamp thing.Like chaz said keep her for one or the other.I have alway's started my dog's on the lamp from a pup for the first few season's that way when i have done day time work then took them back out on the lamp i have never had any problem's with hunting up on the lamp at night when i take my dog's out they know they switch of from one to the other.
