Strong Stuff 2,171
I think I've got what I'd call a decent PC ............ but when viewing videos on line, and lets be honest it's what most blokes do wih their pc's the video is sometimes a bit slow and jumpy. Is this because I haven't got a dedicated graphics card? I've put as much RAM in as I was advised that Vista can take, now it's got 3Gb, but even then sometimes when I've got a few windows open it freezes and takes time to swap from one to the other. What I want is to do as much as I can to make it super fast. Do I need a seperate graphics card? If I do, do they just plug into a slot on the mother board? Are they simple to install? Plug and play? PC sometimes sounds like it's having a right stress, can hear the fan working overtime!!! LOL! Maybe it needs a better fan on the CPU? Does this make any difference? Have included screen shots of system properties etc. All help greatly appreciated! Tell me what to buy and I'll be very grateful! Thanks. The Porn Meister.

They work better when just a small box \If your watching them through a video player use the small screen if they play all right i would rc a better video card ,,, The card that is in is the one that came with the pc, probably a compromise type, ok for normal use but not great. Guest jt750
Watch them in a morning when the net is quiet and then watch them in an evening around 6-8pm and if its the same problem then you need a graphics card. If its ok in a morning and poor on an evening then its the internet being very busy. Are you using using a modem or router ..routers far superior and usually get a better coonection ..are you hard wired or wireless ...hard wired gives you a more stable connection ..If you're on a mobile dongle forget it. Malt 379
What speed is your internet connection? You might be better pausing the video until it's fully downloaded.

Computer plus by liverpool marina buy a decent dedicated video card ..Requires a screwdiver just plugs in on a slot on your pc ,,take them your specs of pc .. even if you got slow connection speed it will make any graphics intensive program run smoother and quicker..
