what to do?

Recommended Posts

You dont have to breed them , its bringing them out of season that needs doing to reduce the swelling

thats because you dont want her to have the swollen vulva there for months as its low to the ground & they can pick up infections for one thing & possibly a more serious condition such as Aplastic anemia

A forum is a "Forum" if everybody continously searched for old information, What would it turn into, a dead old site where people searched for something they wanted information on? You continue to jump onto posts that mention courts, breeding, or other regularly discussed topics and tell people that a quick search only takes a few minutes, Searches wont encourage new discussions, debates or new ideasfrom new members, which is what a forum is for.

As ferreter.al says a vasectomised hob is your best bet

Have a hunt round in your local area and on sites see if there is a keeper of a vasc hob who

will lend you his hobs services its a lot cheaper than 2 jill jabs

but jill jabs are a option if no hob can be found

Theres a "pinned" topic on here with people with snipped hobs available for serving your jills, Have a look & see if theres anybody in your area (its customary for you to take the jills to the hob and you SHOULD offer a fee even if one isnt asked for as it can cost up to £100 to snip a hob). Dont leave it too long either !

Well a lot of very good suggestions as to what to do there. In a couple of months your jills will be out of season anyway so why not leave them.Just keep them clean and they will be fine.

This will give you a chance to PLAN AHEAD for next season. :victory:
