That is exactly how Labour are in control of our Councils, Devolved Governments, MEPs and even in the last two General elections. Either you vote and be counted or you don't complain when things go wrong. I didn't vote for Labour in the last election, nor have I ever voted for them in my life, I despise Labour and what it stands for. We have a strange system in this country where the person with the most seats wins the election, not necessarily the Party with the most votes overall! Its the old saying, "Votes don't count, Seats do" Labour did not have and do not have to have, the majority of the votes in a General Election to win, they only need the majority of seats, this has led to huge, gaping holes in democracy where, for instance, 57% of those eligible to vote are ruled by a party they didn't vote for. I don't support any party in essence, so I vote for the party that most closely resembles my own political views at the time, I am not a Socialist, so I don't vote Labour, I'm not a complete advocate of Liberty, so I don't vote Liberal. I'm a Paternal Conservative. Thats Old Conservatism in old money, pre-Thatcher I'm sick and tired of Labour, Brown, Blair, Iraq, Recession, Taxation and Budget fiddling. But that doesn't mean the Conservatives will do any better, as Mal said, the Conservatives will more than likely get in because they are sick of Labour. Hardly a genuine reason. Saying that every vote counts and that the worst thing you could do is not vote, I would like to see not a single vote cast, back to Absolute Monarchy then Rant Over... Personally i couldnt care less if someone calls me a racist or not......these days any white man proud of his country and wanting to keep england english is termed a racist so who cares....call it what you like we shouldnt have to run away from our beliefs and be ashamed of being proud what sort of twisted reversed psycology is that....but thats what these dogooding twats try to do make you feel guilty for having pride. It wouldnt end with the deportation of ethnics ,if your religion doesnt fit ,sexuality ,politics,disabalities ,drain on resources ,your freedom to think and voice against the state would make you enemy of the party and the state.They would use the power you give them to change laws to there beliefs,and will use there mandate you give them to change the values of this country for there twisted sense of democracy.I agree we dont have true political partys.They have failed us badly,signing our rights away and our way of life away while there noses have been in the political trough of Parliament and Europe The finacial disaster political corruption ,weakness is the feeding ground for these miscreants .Vote them out vote independantt vote Liberal or UKIP This will make the mainstraem partys listen to your concerns . People have given their lives to give us the vote, it is a shame when people can't be arsed to use it. My advice to anyone who wants a vote to count, but can't bring themselves to vote for a mainstream candidate is to spoil your ballot paper. Just imagine if there were more spoilt ballot papers than counted votes - no candidate could claim a mandate (spoiled papers are counted and declared). As for the BNP............ they may have claimed to have changed, but until non-whites (Gurkas for instance) are allowed to join the party, they will always be considered rascist. Don't forget that Hitler gained power during a financial and immigration crisis in germany, and offered what people at the time thought were good policies to get the country out of the mire. The real policies were hidden from the masses until he'd got full power. Anyway, my vote is between me and the ballot box - but I will confirm that I have never, and will never vote labour. I know what you are saying ESS and this is just a opinion. Most people are that sick of the way this country has dropped deeper and deeper in the shit and been taken over by imigrants, the way this government has handled the imigration situation its no wonder people want to vote for the BNP. I just had a leaflet through the door which I read through and to be honest it reads well! People are that sick of the way the country has been run and the deviouse nature MP's have lined their own pockets its refeshing to see a party like the BNP stand up and be counted and tell it as it is..... We all know the BNP have always lacked the same publiicity and air time allocated to other parties due to freedom of speech being a thing of the past in this country, I'm sure if they wasn't so monitored they would have alot more support from genuine British citizens and the like. I read somewhere on the net a while back about the large influx of Imigrants in this country from all corners of the world, some legal and a good majority not! the author pointed out that there is a massive clash of cutltures in Britain due to either religeon or their own beleifs that he expects perhaps in around 20 years time a form of civil war to take place! reading into it further it makes sense as their are many cultures living in uk filled with hate against each other, Its like a time bomb waiting to go off but the genuine british citizens will be the one's to suffer at the end of it............
