Binocular/Rangefinders

seen a debate on ukvarminting bout these 2 binos.... apparently new zeiss ones are the ones of the moment but then again remember geovids been out for wee while now and zeiss just upped things a bit leica may have summit "better" in the pipeline for near future.

 

v-max on here has geovids and i look thru em regularly and they are good low light and rangefinder on em never misses a beat

Had a chat with leica the other day and they are releasing the "HD" version for the geovid's they say better colour perception, low light use improved but it all comes at a price increase.... i asked but got no answer so its a wait out ...

hehehehe beat me to it Nimrod, i was just coming on to post this too.....heard exactly the same but canna get a price.........

 

have heard that they are now at least equal to the new zeiss models

As far as i know there is a "switching " option i.e. from metric to yds and a ballistic feature ( got to key in a code which equates to the calibre your using) gives the hold over distance...... just another thing to faff about with lol Had a look through the zeiss at a game fair last year very good, but the wife does not see it that way... needless to say there on hold

Anyone tried the Leupold ones?

Leopold ones are ok my mate has one but i use the leica 800 lrf, they dont make these ones any more its 900`s now but buy quick because the prices are going through the roof £400 plus! Its defo a cheaper op than the geovids and they fit in your pocket
