As the title states, things need to be done and fast! This product is selling as fast as ever in this country and ive noticed an increase in its use in my area.

I can honestly say that of the 5 or 6 people I know to have one, make every attempt to kill animals with it, which is not what they are for, they are for destroying vacant tunnels only.

How anyone can think burning then suffocating an animal in its home is pest control is beyond my comprehension.

Now Ive no idea how to start a proper petition that can be put forward to defra, but im sure someone on here will have the skill to put it in place. As the sooner these so called tools are banned the better!

That sounds an awful device when misused by the ignorant, people who doubtless apply the furry factor to rabbits, but who will kill rats etc by any means possible regardless of the cruelty involved and doubtless feel fully vindicated for doing so

The misuse of such 'inventions' is something that anybody who wishes to kill pests in a humaine manner could never entertain.

I too am a bit of a techno luddite when it comes to setting up petitions etc but will willingly put my name down on one.

Aye that would possibly do the trick, but hell, Im not confident in putting together such an important thing mate, I just hope there will be something done about it sooner rather than later. Il help in any way I can, but like I say I dont think im the person for the job.

I honestly dont know why the profesional pest controllers of Britain havent already put forward something like this?

Cheers for the help L+L
