Has anybody come across these before?? from Newzeland Not seen one before and was informed they have been aproved for around 18 months, However they have not been aproved for the control of mink in the uk yet.

A fair piece of kit but you would certainly not want to be carrying more than a few around at a time, bit on the numb side.

Yes they have been approved for a while but bizarrely are still being tested by the GWCT at Fordingbridge. They will also be the sole importers when they do decide to begin bringing them over. There are a few over here that individuals have bought in but they are not widely available yet.

 

I think 120-2 on here has a couple - perhaps he can let you know how they are?

Had two stoats in mine now, good bit of kit like you say but not as versitile as a fen.

I was told a different tale. The GWCT dont have the funds to test and DEFRA are not too keen on funding and are dragging thier heels.

i jst got back from sweden and thats what they use there.

 

on that link it states that hedgehogs one one of the four target pest predators. what exactly do they predate???

 

Those predator details are for NZ where they suffer from the hedgehog's predilictions of the eggs of ground nesting birds
