Your bronze head is also a nice one - I would think it scored well on uniformity of the antlers. Your latest looks like it has the weight for gold good luck when you get it assesed.

your right there sauer i have had that bugger in my shed feeding it up for a year, got sick of it wrecking my reloading bench so i shot it the other night, lol.

Hope it scores well Dave , it will dry out a lot , probably lose at least 100 gms .Good luck anyway as its a cracker!

Well done mate.

 

Most spring shot heads will dry out by up to 10%, so if he stays above 600g you should get a gold from him as everything else looks good about the head.

The weight is certainly there Dave might have been better to put a measuring tape up the side that's were a lot of the points are scored i shot a head last season its wet weight was 683 and it finished at 603 still made gold but only just making 130.7. his length was 26.5 cent

its sitting @ 630g at the moment to be honest i think it will make a high silver not a gold dropping to much weight, length 24.0 and 26.5 time will tell.
