johnpop 3
hello everyone,im new to the site ive had a air riffle for a few years now, never really used it for hunting just used it for target practice over the back fields but this was before the big crack down on guns and knives and never got any trouble, but now iam interested in getting some rabbits and pigeons but was thinking of going down the local woods, was wondering if it is worth it or how much trouble will i get if i got caught. Any other ideas of were i could shoot would be great. thanks Quote Link to post

aaronpigeonplucker 32
as soon as you get your perrmission wich (you being 23 years old, hardly young compared to me!) should be quite quickly then before you even think about going after wild quarry make sure your accuracy is spot on and that your sights are zeroed. what gun and scope have you got? dpb82uk 138
i think as long as you av permishon and your air rifle is up to 12 ft lbs you will be ok if the power is over 12ft lbs FAC-rated air rifles you will need a Firearm Certificate and permishon to shoot where ever you go im new to all this so im not to shur mate so id chek the laws first so you no where you stand im doing the same before i get a rifle and go out with it Edited May 21, 2009 by dpb82uk Quote Link to post
