elvolcan 0
I have a CZ 452 .17HMR Silhouette 245ft/lbs (see sig) and to begin with the factory trigger was not good. I installed the Eric Brooks trigger kit on the basis of its outstanding reviews, and I cant recommend it enough !!!!!!!!!!! Great Improvement, ordered from US for $15 delivered (only £10 at the moment due to exchange rates ) The Eric Brooks trigger kit is well known as the best available for the CZ452 To Order one: http://www.cz452.com/ Fitting Instructions with pictures as well as a TON of excellent reviews: http://www.thehuntinglife.com/forums/index...showtopic=52658 It has made my .17HMR very accurate  ATB Edited May 19, 2009 by elvolcan Quote Link to post
SNAP SHOT 194
Contact roger at rimfire magic, they are around 12 quid of the top of my head, and excellent to deal with, Quote Link to post
Deker 3,478
Each to their own and I'm sure Rimfire Magic is fine but the Brooks trigger is the one I would suggest every time, mine was only a bit over £8.00 Direct but the exchange rate is not so good now...more options and variations than the Rimfire magic and it has transformed my CZ HMR! sako243 0
If you're only going to replace the trigger once, even at the extra expense, you'd be hard pushed to beat the Jewel trigger kit. Available from all good custom gun sites Quote Link to post
sako243 0
Von Midway UK are selling Timney triggers which are rifle specific. Check them out Sako243 Timney Featherweight Trigger CZ 452 17 Hornady Magnum Rimfire (HMR) and 22 Winchester Magnum Rimfire (WMR) without Safety 1 to 3-1/2 lb Blue Quote Link to post
AzMaN 0
I have a CZ 452 in .22LR. I tryed it with and without the eric brooks triger kit, and i much stay it is soooo much better with the kit, its light, but not too light as to be set off when brushed against. Quote Link to post
andyf 144
I put a Brooks trigger kit in my CZ American 17HMR, excellent! I used the lightest spring and the largest spacer, the trigger is now almost on a par with my other with my others (Sako Finnfire factory unit, and Browning A Bolt with a Timney), and vastly improved from the factory set up. As someone else said you can get a complete replacement (e.g. 'Jewel') trigger group, and although I don't have one I have tried someone else's, yes better than the Brooks, but only because creep is eliminated fully, so worth the money? not sure? Also I believe the stock has to be machined out deeper to accept the replacement unit because the body section protrudes down more than the CZ stock unit. Not that big a deal with wood (Router used with care would probably be ok), but on a Synth. I don't know? Anyway if you don't do it yourself, the economics of the above reworks etc probably is telling you to buy a more expensive and exotic rifle in the first place. You will need to drive out a staked in pin to fit the Brooks kit, I suggest (like me) you use a drill bit shank of the right size, just grind off the drill flutes on a bench grinder (or angle grinder), you can't hacksaw it the drill is hardened. Good Luck! Andy F. Quote Link to post
