Going lamping tonight - rain/long grass

We were out last night trying out the new lamps and batterys and to give the dogs a run havent been out in weeks,we saw alot of quarry, my bitch took 3 hares(shot and retrived) and a bunny for the freezer,could have took many more as there are loads of hares infact infested with them,we watched the roe deer grazing on side of wood,and seen 4 foxes which we left for now! So realy some dog food,trying the new lamps and batterys,and checking out the new permission!

I understand what you are saying, when i see people posting about ferreting in the summer I feel the same.

I have only done it twice just to test things out, I will be waiting until the winter to go again.

 

Also we are talking about rabbits, some people shoot them in the summer with rifles and others with dogs, what's the difference?

I was only running the dog against the 3/4 grown rabbits, not fully grown or tiny young ones.

Did you not read it properly you f*****g muppet! New permission! New lamping gear! Bit flesh for the dog! We could have took a bag over 30 or 40 and no the grass wasnt long it was f*****g short! And it was the first time out in months! Again its my permission no-one elses i dont go out and see 10 bunnies a night and get one,we see 1000 of bunnys,hares in fields like 10-20 per field and even more bigger quarry,so i couldnt realy give a f**k what half of the messers say on this site ill hunt when i want so august september here we come! And as for pictures ill never post a picture on here again after the things ive heard!

sound post that miller kid, i got 2 new farms one i havent even been on yet had a look on 1st one last week had 9 and seen few long ears which i left for winter , gonna have a look at this new farm on friday or a nite next week meet farmer frid morning hes showing me around so will have a look on that and as you were saying its my permisson ill go on it as i like , ill have a shine have a look and then hit it full blast cum sept, but if i feel a need to get lamp on earlier whos business is it but my own.

thankyou very much mate at least this site has a little hope left! Most of the people replying to these topics are kids that are just going along with others pritty sad when they know nothing! To be fair im sure i could hunt the land we have all year round for years we wouldnt run out of game for years to come the farmer has problems which i can resolve,so be it! I dont own all the quarry but its there on the land we cover so why not! Cheers gaz we have hope left yet!

Im running a 3/4 grey 1/4 bull airedale at the min shes 25tts 22mnths comming on well and this season comming is going to be her first full season so hopefully she will be ready!

nice one lad i have a 22tts collie/grey x colliexwhippetxsaluki 14months not bad on rabbits had 5s and 6s and took a few long ears on lamp, the saluki x is stunning looking dog all feathered up and stuff hes not seen any lamp work and is out of shape sharping him up for the comming season get him on rabbits to quicked him up and see how he goes on long ears hes keen thou. have you been out latley mate pm if you like

rabbits are breeding all year round now are they not????? a pest is a pest at the end of day , i dont think lad hammers it in summer time i been out 3times since season for a few slips on bunnys, last i heard it legal take rabbits all year round on permission , antis reading a whole lot worse on this site mate each to their own i guess
