awen 29
chatting to an old boy last week hes family are from lancashire and (were) big poachers, his granfather got him his first terrier at 7 with it gave him a piece of bread and told him to put it under his arm till the bread went damp, he then told him to feed it to his new dog, he said that the dog would be faithfull to him and no other from then on. this old boy is now in his 70s and swears by this old countrymans lore he has done it with everyone of his dogs. he really does know his stuff. anybody else heard of this?
