2+2 using a 22-250

just thought that I would show you what a 22-250 V-max can do.

I was up at 4.30, packed the rifle and the bins into the car and off

to see if I could put a roe buck in the freezer.

 

when I got up the seat and set up ready it was just breaking day

on the right there is a hedge that runs up to the rubbish dump and

normally the roe cross the hedge to get to the pond that is infront of the

seat. while waiting there was some movement comeing down the hedge row

smaller that a roe and hard to see. then it vanished into the dip that is about 120m

from the seat only to reappear about m to the left a few seconds later the

22-250 smacked home! Charlie did'nt even see it comeing, 20 mins later the same

thing happend again. what a morning no meat for the freezer but a good deed done

for the birds
