BUSHNELL LEGEND.

ANYONE GOT OR USED THE BUSHNELL LEGEND RIFLE SCOPE [4-12X40] -[5-15X40] ..MY PURPOSE DEER /FOX SHOOTING DUSK AND DAWN .[ .243 ] ARE THEY ANY GOOD ? CHEER'S.

They are OK for their price bracket. I've only looked through one, not used one in the field. Thing is, they're so close to the Elite 3200, which is much better, that the Elite is worth the extra IMHO.

I have one on my .17hmr and .243 and think that for the money they are very hard to beat. I obtained both of the them second hand. One came with the hmr and I bought the other on Airgunbbs for £120 inc P&P as new.

 

They do offer pretty good light transmission, good clarity and a crisp picture.

 

They are better scopes available for more money, but on a budget they do the job. With a much bigger spend you will get a few more extra minutes at each end of the day, but would down to x5 you will not miss much.

 

What I have increasing found is that I need a scope that is low mounted rather than a higher mounted bigger scope....with both of the above and the profile of the stocks I am instantly looking right though the centre of the scope.

 

But of course that is just me and maybe my odd shaped head !

THANK'S FOR THE INPUT . I USED A WHITETAIL CLASSIC [3.5 X10-40] ON MY .223 FOR SIX YEAR'S FOUND IT DONE THE JOB JUST FANCY SOMETHING BETTER FOR MY .243 WHEN I GET IT "SHORTLY".
