Cleaning Barrel

Hi guys,

 

When cleaning a .22 barrel, should I be using a copper brush to run through it or just use the white cleaning pads?

Also, do I need to apply any gun cleaning oils when cleaning the barrel.

Ive had my .22 about 6yrs and havnt cleand it once.Dont see the point.Dont use a copper brush unless its real nessasary just a mop with a touch of oil is best i think

same here, i have never cleaned the barrel of my .22LR either.

Drop of oil and a boresnake every now and then - 22LR is fine because it's a lead bullet.

 

On a CF, you need more to get the copper out.
