5 days ago had my first ever litter of kits so took out the hob and anoter jill as i was told looked this mornin and there gone any reason for this thanks

alrite mate,did you disturb her in any way.i tennd not to look in for first 5-7 days (inless the jill is out of the bedding area and feeding)have you been looking in at them alot?

If you want to breed from her she will come back in again later in the year

i find if i leave any other ferrets in when there is kits the mother will eat them to stop others from getting them ,,she may come straight back on heat again just keep an eye on her ,2 of mine come on heat twice in spring

maybe you should have taken the other ferts out, a week or so before she had the litter, sudden changes can be the cause,

mine has done the same mate bit gutting aint it but moy other jill is due soon so hopefully some good luck
