Oi I only thought of it because 1) We drove through there the other day, & 2) I just dine a trace on my Nan's maiden name & it came up with that area! We are hoping to add these missing names at a later date there is very few of us in the world probably only 10 in the uk, 2 in canada and 2 in the u.s. but the people over the water do trace back to the uk ... would love to know where it comes from?? donk 12 Posted May 18, 2009 Report Share Posted May 18, 2009 North east scotland,aberdeenshire area,in fact i know some of my family had a farm in Alford,not sure which clan the 'massies' were part of,been there and seen some gravestones and my great uncle leslie is on the memorial stone from the war.
