What a bloody day.

Went out with the airarms today in between the showers,walking towards a hedge i saw 2 rabbits run in so ithought i would lay up and wait for the to come out,so down in the wet grass i go,sat there for about 3/4 of a hour started getting a bit cold so stood up to go some where else and just as i stood up a rabbit comes out of the hedge sees me and does a very quick about turn and back in the hedge .

So went to another hedge and saw a rabbit about 45yds out so the stalk was on,i got within about 35 yds and just laying down to take the shot and the rabbits hops off in the other direction and is now about 60yds from me,the wind was still in my favour so i belly crawled to get in range,through wet grass,nettles,cow sh1t under a electric fence(very,very low crawl)got to within 30ish yds,lined the rabbit up and a bloody calf followed by its mum came running over to me,i sh1t me pants thinking this cow is not going to stop stood up and ran for the electric fence jumping it in one :censored: .

I thought thats it i am off home,walking in to the farm saw 2 ferals on the ground,took aim at 25yds...............and MISSED........ .

I am selling the rifle and buying a fishing rod .

Had the same type of day meself Mr TP ...bagged 2 but missed a couple of sitters today .Bloody windy,pissing down then sunshine & to top it of f g walkers all over the place!!!Came away raging,piss wet through but there's always the next sesh to look forward to
