flytie 1
Just been looking myself at the same thing, the bushwear one seems to be the best value; http://www.bushwear.co.uk/nostyles.php?Pro...amp;ClassID=182 there is this one too; http://shop.ebay.co.uk/?_from=R40&_trk...-All-Categories There are others but they are quite a bit more expensive. I bought a £99.00 one from Target Sports in their sale, i will not buy another! I have recently got three more permissions, two of which are quite small and I thought a portable high seat would suit. I had a look on google and found quite a few "Portable" H/S's most of which are very expensive. The Bushwear Panther and Cub look the best value. I have decided to buy a good quality galvanised H/S, for which I can buy a freestanding leg kit too. i do not like the idea of hiking in with a seat, putting it up, and then hiking back to the vehicle to fetch the rifle etc. If I am going to put one up the day/week before I want to shoot, I might as well put up something that is a little more robust, that will be less easy to sabotage/nick. Fidgety 8
Thanks chaps, the Bushwear one looks the best value for my needs. Flytie - I'm sure I bought the same cheapie as you - absolutely perfect if you want to put it against a telegraph pole, or have a perfect branch free pine tree! I did a few mods to it and it's much better, but not really portable! Quote Link to post
