I been thinking does anyone feed fox to their ferrets? i mean years ago the chinese by me used to buy fox's off a boy i know as they used to eat them (maybe they used to put them in curry instead of something else?) Theres obviously some good meat on them but i've never heard anyone mentioning feeding them to ferrets. Is there any reason why a ferret couldn't eat some? Cheers, Kristian.

Funny enough was thinking of having one tonight (chinese) theres different chinese there now this was about possibly 15-20yrs ago

I think your ferrets would smell like fox but meat is meat. make sure the fox isnt too diseased . Joe

when i want the teeth of the fox we chuck the head into the ferrets and they get to work at it the its easy to brake the teeth off

i was thinking of skinning it then jointing it? may give it a go seems better than wasting it.

remember reading book few years ago (might have been brian plummer) and he tried eating it and said it was one of most awful things he ever tasted, along with badger and heron.

I opened one up and put it in with 10 ferrets not one touched it maybe mine are too fussy but you should be wary about mange

I regularly take a hind leg off a fox and throw it in with the ferts,they love it,but,as said check for mange first...............Martin.

i tryed feeding my ferrets fox once, thay wouldnt eat it, then i tryed to see if my dog would eat it, nope he wouldnt either. so if thay do i would but i dont rekon thay would. i dont blame them evan the meat stinks
