pups are here!

Well i was up all night, without any problems this time! First pup born at 11.20pm and last 7.45 this morning! :D All are doing well and are beautiful.

 

These are the 3 bitches that are staying at the moment, this could change.

5 bitches altogether.

my sort of lurcher, very nice looking litter, will you be taking the dew claws of, saves a lot of problems in the long run. Stan.

 

My vets won't do it and i don't know how. :blink: Thanks for the great comment. :D I've never had trouble with dew claws and my lurchers and pups only have small ones, if you keep them nice and short, they shouldn't be a problem. I would remove them if i could.

go to the chemist and get some vaseline and a sharp pair of curved scissors the type you do toe nails with but with a blade length of about an inch. carefully slide up under dew claw without pressing in to the leg and snip of each dew claw and put a small amout of vaseline on each dew mark. there,s very little blood and i have allways done them as soon as possible. good luck.
