Moderator for CZ 527 in .223

I'm interested in purchasing good quality moderator/silencer/supressor for my 527 in .223. Please advise me on your experience in this situation.

Dont have a CZ but I've got a 223 howa fitted with a wildcat pred 8 its got good sound reduction and its fully strippable so its really easy to clean.

My .223 is a howa but ive got an ase jet-z mod on it. Unbeatable for sound supression imo.

I have a Jet Z, P8 Compact and T8. They're all OK for moderation, I think the P8 is best tbh, although I do have the 22 baffles.

 

Avoid the T8, all the others are fine.

I have tried a few over the years but now I run the Predator 8 COMPACT on all my centrefires, right up to and including the .308. The Compact helps with the weight and makes little or no difference to the moderation, certainly not up to and including the .243, perhaps a tiny bit on the .308.

 

I do not believe they are the best sound moderation but they are good enough for me, and they are very easy to strip and clean (which probably means I do it too often).

 

As centrefire mods go they are not expensive either...although the trade margins on these (and most mods) are enormous!!

hi. ive.a 527 ebony special edition cz .brilliant piece of kit and i have a atech fitted fully stripable and if you want to go up a cal you just buy the baffles they are on offer at the moment too verry efective too

There's an article in the Shooting Times (June 25th) on moderators for .17 HMR that might be of use. Then again, perhaps it won't.
