Bryan 1,362
It's ironic that people in the 6 counties can only hunt because of the devolution brought about by sinn fein. Britain in it's wisdom has banned hunting and if westminister was still running northern Ireland there'd be no hunting there either.I'm sure Dazza appreciates it. Jigsaw it seems a few SF members didn't even know of their own policies at last years HAI meeting, they have always been opposed to fox hunting but at this years ard fheis they passed a resolution that the party is opposed to all hunting, including coursing. lucylocket 0
Yet another reason not to vote for them. Wouldnt vote for them if they were the last party here.Left England to come back here not totally because of the hunting ban but it was a factor. But never mind Jigsaw because where you'll be coursing the boys in blue won't be able to catch you. For years they couldn't catch the poteen makers or more recently the druggies so I reckon you'll be safe in the very unlikely event that it may become illegal here. Swampy 147
Politics aside; Who is going to police the ban in Ireland? you are lucky enough to live in a country taht is quite sparcely polulated and I know its a "principle" thing but lets be honest here, we love you lot because you do what you damn well like regardless of the law, if you feel that is a daft law. Surely you'll carry on. Last time I was in Limmerick I can't tell you how enjoyable it was to drink a decent pint of Guiness and have a smoke in front of a real fire. No one batted an eye when folk sparked up. It was a local pub for local folk and two fingers to the law! Good on ya. Keep hunting regardless of who bans it! Swampy Ninging in green
punter 0
so whats the crack with the law south of the border. I no you can use dogs for rats + rabbits. is it or is it not still legal to use them on fox + hares.?

I know its heavy on juice but its the vehicle I want to drive and yah boo sucks to the greenies!
