jigsaw 11,865
I just recieved a phone call from a mate and he told me that SINN FEINN,the political party here in Ireland have promised in their ARD FHEIS in Dublin this week to ban hunting and coursing if they get in to power in this country.I am disgusted and am waiting to see their canditates come knocking for votes in the upcoming elections. For any of you Irish lads/lassies out there I would recommend you ask some hard and fast questions in the short time left before the elections.I was slightly leaning towards this party but not now.Anyone hear about this,if its true I think the word should be spread through the hunting community in this country to make others aware as to the damage to our sport being done by casting your vote for a party thats opposed to our way of life.my local candidate lives only a few streets away from us and our area is densly concentrated with hunting folk, coursing men and what not.let me know what you think folks. Strong Stuff 2,171
They don't need your support anymore ............ they are earning millions off the Queen now. Times change eh? GA, MM and co taking the Queens shilling Who'd ever have thought that those men would have their rent paid by the BRITISH government, you'd be forgiven for thinking they'd abandoned their roots ............ Probably nearly as bad as the British lads feel seeing I.P. sitting down with them, it's all f****d up, at least 20 years ago we all knew what was what.

patdahat 41
well thats a good one, its about a year ago i was at a national hunting meeting, the main topic was to get a hunt licence re issued for a majour hunt in the east that the goverment were not willing to issue and one of the top people for SF was backing us all the way at the time. Well if this is the new policy by them i just cant wait to answer the door to them and they will be sent packing fairly fast. When did they come out with this in dublin??
