SEDGEWICK 0
I have worked Spinone's for years and I must say these are cracking dog's with exceptional hunting skills. Italian Spinone owners know of their dog's keen, very intelligent expressions. They are extremely smart gundogs. They are one of the most loyal breed of gundogs, and any avid hunter truly appreciates this characteristic in a well-developed hunting dog. Italian Spinones are enthusiastic, but slightly slower than most bird dogs due to the size and even slower in the wet because of the thick coat. They are however hard workers and will be loyal to their masters. They need moderate amounts of attention, and training in order for them to stay in top conditioning form during the hunting season. £750 - £1k is the going rate for these dog's, however people are becoming aware of this and breeding for the £££££. In summary these dogs are premium gun dogs with a very high end price range, however if you want to save money and have a dog that will hunt all day, point a buttefly from 40 yards and look very similar you cant beat a GWP at half the price. Hope this helps and when you get ur pup post me a pic, always interested in seeing the latest pups!! Quote Link to post
