shooter19 0 Posted May 15, 2009 Report Share Posted May 15, 2009 im just wondering is there any certain way that you can catch rabbits by leaving a net in a certain position or area and leave it overnight so that the rabbits could get tangled up in it themselves?? is this possible?? i dont know much about this sport so excuse me if i sound like an eejit!! stubby 175 Posted May 18, 2009 Report Share Posted May 18, 2009 a drop net is a longnet, that is set out raised on poles, normally left set in the "up" position for a few nights, once the rabbits leave the warrens and go out to feed, a string/rope etc is pulled and the nets drop to the floor, now its the same as a longnet, you'd still need to be present Quote Link to post
