from my own personal view fiat is a bag of s**t

had a 02 scudo van till 2 weeks ago as mentioned in one

of the other replies the euc {brain} fried itsself

is a common fault so went back to the tranny reliable and

handy for parts i get about 75 mile to a tenner thats the 2.0td model

Gizmo,thanks for that.What year was your van?I have found a transit crewcab for sale,its a 05 and asking price is 4,995 euros.I am waiting to have a gander up north before I jump in and purchase.Its been up for sale for a few weeks now and its in a dealers in a remote town in Southern Ireland so hopefully wont be going anywhere for a bit,fingers crossed.

f**k me jigsaw grab it my dad bought his first transit in 89 and to this day has never owned another van best van on road 5 grand 05 cheap cheap van

im thinking of getting a tranny or similar myself,to make the rear for the dogs and the middle accessed through side door into a day/over night van.has anyone done this and if so any pictures for ideas would be appreciated.regards jack.

ive been offered a y reg merc vito 75,000 miles for £1100 just wandering if anyone knows what there like on fuel consumption and things to look for before i hand my hard earnt over ,cheers
sold my 04 plate fuel about 32mpg not pushing it ,my transit doing 42 mpg :clapper: ,merc drives nice but suffer with injector probs which can be expensive .

my dad drives a ford tranny for dittys home bakery and its now up for sale... i dont know if i'll go for it or not because it took alot of effort to get through the last psv... mechanically very good but ford do tend to rust an awful lot.. once every 6 months its best to spray waste oil underneath to keeps sills etc right on them... if i get a year out of it hassle free i would be happy enough
